The Saturday eviction show had two contestants given the gate after collecting the least number of votes from East Africa. With only seven (7) days left to seal the sixth edition of Tusker Project Fame with a grand finale show that will see this season’s winner crowned with a cash prize of Kshs 5 millions, contestants are being shown the gate to create space for the lucky one.
Let’s take a brief look at what transpired in this Saturday’s Eviction show.
The show was quite different from the previous eviction shows where the contestants have to re-do the rendition that had put them on probation, this time round, contestants where given chance to perform to their favourite songs. So this is what happened;
Patrick from Rwanda took the stage first with Eric Wainaina rendition Nchi ya kitu kidogo, he gave it his all and it was quite a good performance. Next on stage was Kojjo, Hope and Phionah taking the stage next with Mulembe gwa Kirya rendition by Maurice Kirya, a beautiful performance although there were some failures with the microphone but the trio managed to handle it.
Next on stage was Nyambura and Daisy performing to kenny Rodgers rendition Something inside so strong, it was an amazing performance, Nyambura stating that she felt great performing with the lady with vocals, Daisy. Then Amos and Josh took the stage next performing to Nameless’s rendition Deadly, remember its the same rendition that saw the “Nameless Curse” off Tusker project fame, it was an incredible performance.
Lastly, All contestants took the stage performing to Blurred lines by Robin thicke, a rendition that Hisia from Tanzania performed last Sunday, the Tanzania lad gave it his feel. After all the performances, the worst moment in Tusker Project Fame came to front, eviction Moment where two contestants where given the gate.
Kojjo from Uganda and Phionah from Rwanda were evicted from the academy for collecting the least number of votes from East Africa.
