Loopholes in groups identified

Written on Thursday, 3 October 2013 | 14:05

Tusker project fame season 6 altered a little in the rules allowing groups of not more than three members to also take the stage. In the recently concluded auditions we have seen extremely good talents emerging from group performances.

An example is HIM music Band, a Capella singing group, comprising of seven young, talented lads from Uganda doing gospel music.  This group was initiated way back in 2005 from Katikamu sss. Like any of you who read the rules, i was mesmerized seeing these “men in black” auditioning it excess of three. We must compliment them for their stunning performance, they were really ready.
But hey!!, let’s give that a damn, the issue is, during these auditions and particularly this group, some loopholes where identified by judges. Let’s take a look at them.
1. Confidence
When member are performing the group, they tend to gain from each other support, this was proved when each of the members in the group was asked to perform individually. This is where Judges noticed that some where nervous, that they couldn’t perform on their own.

2. Hidden talents
In group performances, it was found that some members with little or no talent mix up with those members with higher talents. this group offered a good example, where out of the seven members in the group, only one by names of Eriab was identified to beat the rest in vocals. he was asked to represent the group.
