Seven very lucky singers are on the verge of dream come true when they were picked to go through to the second round in the on-going Tusker Project Fame Season Six auditions. Several dozens of their hopefuls were turned away as they failed to make the grade.

“This was better than Arua, a lot more people turned up and we had some really good singers,” one of the judges, Urban TV’s Bush Baby, said. “But many of them were not quite prepared, hopefully by next year they would have improved their act.”
The Mbarara auditions, which took place on Saturday at the Agip Motel, were the second after Arua last week. Three people from Arua qualified for the next round.
Hope Natukunda was third to audition, and she was the first one to be given a yes by all three judges. The other judges were Capital radio’s Flavia Tumusiime and musician Benon Mugumbya. The other winners were Stone, Rita, Christine, Andrew Aijuka, Arnold Mukama, and Faith Gandhi
